  4. {COMMO} (tm) is a Telecommunications Program that offers great power, speed
  5. and flexibility in a small, easy-to-use package.
  6.  
  7. IMPORTANT!  This archive is a supplement for users of the Hewlett Packard HP
  8. 95LX palmtop computer.  You must also obtain the {COMMO} standard release 5.3
  9. archive which contains the user manuals and other important files.  It is
  10. usually archived as COMMO53.ZIP (COMMO.ZIP in the HPSYS forum on CompuServe).

  12. See INSTAL95.DOC and EXM.DOC for instructions on installing {COMMO} on your HP
  13. 95LX.

  15. {COMMO} for the HP 95LX is identical to the standard release with the
  16. following exceptions:
  17.  
  18.   1) There is a modification to the serial port handler to compensate for a
  19.      hardware defect in the 95LX serial port.
  20.  
  21.   2) A special terminal emulation option "H" can be selected to cause terminal
  22.      data to wrap at 40 columns.
  23.  
  24.   2) Some display windows have been modified and moved to the upper left
  25.      corner to compensate for the 40 column screen.
  26.  
  27.   3) Some command keys have been changed to compensate for the lack of these
  28.      keys on the 95LX.  Refer to Online Help (as supplied in this package) for
  29.      a complete list of default command keys.

  32. {COMMO} is Shareware.  Please see REGISTER.FRM, COMMO.DOC or MACRO.DOC for
  33. complete pricing and ordering information (I am now accepting payment by
  34. CREDIT CARD).  Registration allows you to eliminate the opening advertisement
  35. and to personalize your copy of the program.  Guidelines for SHAREWARE
  36. DISTRIBUTORS are given in the file VENDOR.DOC.  Sample site and distribution
  37. agreements are contained in the file LICENSE.DOC.

  39. IMPORTANT:  Do you have the latest {COMMO} releases?  There may have been new
  40. features added since this version was released.  See below for details on
  41. getting the latest release.

  45. common to the standard release have a "95" in the filenames (to prevent
  46. accidental overwriting on your PC).  Be sure that these files are renamed
  47. without the "95" when they are received on your 95LX (see INSTAL95.DOC).
